Priyanka graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2011 with a Master’s degree in Applying Physiotherapy (musculoskeletal) having previously completed a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (1st Class Honours).
Priyanka has worked as an MSK Physiotherapist in various NHS hospitals and private clinics, building up a breadth of experience dealing with different musculoskeletal disorders and has been involved in both conservative and post-operative management.
She has also worked as an occupational health physiotherapist providing treatment and advice regarding work-related health disorders and work ergonomics.
She has completed post-graduate training in Acupuncture and Pilates (level 1) and integrates suitable techniques into her treatment plans as appropriate. Priyanka has a hands-on approach and combines this with exercise programs to help patients reach their goals. She has a special interest in shoulder and spinal pathologies and also enjoys working with geriatric patients.
Priyanka is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health Care Professions Council.
